How to Add an Email Signature in Outlook on the Web
Add a formatted email signature to Outlook on the web or Outlook.com, set automatic use and test the finished installation.
Rich HTML supported in the web editorBefore you begin
The current web and new Outlook flows share the Accounts → Signatures settings area and support named signatures.
- 01
Copy your finished signature
Open your completed SendSignatures design and select Copy signature. Keep this guide open in another tab while you install it.
- 02
Open signature settings
In Outlook on the web, select Settings, then Accounts → Signatures. Some organisational tenants may show Mail → Compose and reply instead.
- 03
Add and paste
Select Add signature, give it a name, click in the editor and paste your copied SendSignatures design.
- 04
Set automatic use
Choose whether the signature appears on new messages and on replies or forwards. Confirm the correct account if several are connected.
- 05
Save
Select Save, then close Settings. You can also insert a saved signature manually from the Signature command while composing.
- 06
Send a proper test
Compose a new message to yourself and check the result in both a desktop and mobile inbox. Test every link and confirm that remote images load.
